I'm Lesley and I've been a crafter all my life. I discovered paper crafting about 30 years ago and this is now my great passion.

You are Amazing

I am on a stash-busting mission at the moment. Whilst tidying, I rediscovered a HearfeltCreations paperpad that I was given ages ago but have never used. The first project with it was the tiny basket in the previous post and this is the second - a simple stepper card. I might have to make more of these with the same message as I know some amazing young women who have all coped so well through these difficult times of Covid lockdowns over the past year.

I chose moss green for the base of the card to pick out the green from this paper from Butterfly Medley. The yellow paper looks so cheerful and hints at Spring which will soon be with us. I gently blended the edges with Milled Lavender distress ink and fussy cut butterflies from the paper, lifting the wings to simulate flight.

I love this sentiment by Lisa Horton Crafts as it sums up everything I wanted to convey with this card. Now to make more for the other young women.....
