Time for Tea

I am continuing my  mission to use scraps of my favourite paper collections in small projects. As it's nearly Easter, I thought this cute cup would make a lovely gift filled with sachets of instant drinks or tea-bags. I had just enough of this pretty page from Butterfly Medley paper to decorate it too. I love Butterflies!

It looks beautiful displayed here with Starry Night Decorative die; I cut it twice back to back to form a circular doily. The flowers are made with the flower shaping paper and oakberry Lane stamps and dies. I love these flowers and the smaller sizes here are so useful to add to any card or  project. I try to always make more than I need of any flowers and then I have some to hand whenever needed. I must remember to add the name of the products used to make them so I can make more the same if needed.

Wouldn't this make a lovely Christmas gift too, with hot chocolate sachets and candy canes? Hmm, there's another idea! Hope you like this little project and give it a try. As usual, if you would like instructions, leave me a positive comment below and I will gladly send you a copy.

  4. What a lovely presentation - and a great idea for using the Starry Night die for a doily! I love that die. I too am trying to use up some of my paper scraps. This is a great project for that. Please send me the tutorial. Thanks so much!
