Good Morning,
It's been some time since I posted on my blog, but I hope you have all been following me on Instagram and Facebook, as that is where I have been busy sharing my DT projects for Craft Consortium and my Stampin'Up! business.
Today's card is a really simple one suitable for all abilities, and it showcases the Limited Edition Premium Paper pad - Tales from Oak Wood - from Craft Consortium. This is an 8" x 8" pad, containing 36 sheets of double-sided backing papers, toppers and sentiments - so a complete paper-crafting kit in one pad - bargain!
I've added 3 Happy Harvest Enamel Dots, currently on clearance on the Craft Consortium website - go and grab yourself a bargain there too, as many products are half-price!
Instructions:
1. I used my normal 5 3/4 x 8 1/4 card base, scored in half at 4 1/8 in Calypso Coral
2. Add a layer of very vanilla card
3. Cut a length of 5 5/8 across your chosen backing paper, then cut strips at 2 1/2, 1 3/4, 1 3/4
4. Adhere the widest strip down the centre of the matted card base
5. Apply adhesive down the outside edges of the narrower strips, taking care which side of the paper you wish to see.
6. Mark the centre of these outside strips with a pencil. Hold this point and fold back the top corners to the outside, as in the picture, turn the card upside down and repeat for the bottom.
7. Fussy cut the desired sentiment and adhere across the centre with dimensional foam pads.
8. Add enamel dots
9. Cut a strip ( 1/2" - 1" according to design) from leftover paper and adhere to the inside to decorate. I added a very vanilla panel inside first to write on.
